Secretary

The Secretariat of the Department of Mathematics is responsible for all administrative and student-related matters. The service is staffed by the Head of Secretariat and three administrative officers. It is located on the first floor of the Biology/Mathematics Building, in offices 150–153.

The Secretariat is the Department’s central administrative service. Its main responsibilities include:

the administrative connection between the Department of Mathematics and the University of Patras.

the management of incoming and outgoing documents.

the registration of new students and the approval of the academic ID card.

the issuing of certificates.

informing students about any administrative or operational matter concerning the curriculum, such as regulations, registration renewals, course selection and declarations, scholarships, European student exchange programs, internships, etc., as well as any other information necessary or relevant to their studies.

the maintenance of records concerning students’ academic performance, scholarships, degree awards, and graduation ceremonies.

the posting of general announcements.

08

providing information on postgraduate studies and assisting postgraduate students and doctoral candidates with all matters concerning them.

Working days, 11:00–13:00

The Secretariat receives students on all working days from 11:00 to 13:00. Information on most study-related matters is also available on the Department’s website.
