Interdepartmental Master’s Program in Environmental Sciences

Since the academic year 2018-2019, the revised Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program in Environmental Sciences has been in operation. It was approved and published in the Government Gazette (ΦΕΚ 2397/22.6.2018, Vol. B) in accordance with the provisions of Law 4485/2017. The program covers the interdisciplinary field of Environmental Sciences, including Biology, Physics, Chemistry, the Geosciences, Materials Science, and Applied Mathematics.

The program has a duration of four semesters and is intended for graduates of Departments within the Schools of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, and other Environment-related University Departments, as well as graduates from related Technological Educational Institutes (TEIs). The program aims to provide a high-level education to these graduates, offering specialization in the analysis of environmental issues, the study and management of environmental processes and problems, and the capability to conduct research for scientific advancement in the field of the environment.
